One of the things which frequently slows down my postings is lack of bandwidth to include the photos which – to me – are integral to the story I try to tell. Today I offer you just that – just the photos!

A quick stop to fix the walkers version of a flat tire – blisters!

These woods remind me of the Pacific Coast Rain Forests.

Old growth forests of Oak, chestnut and beech.

There are also some awesomely huge black slugs traversing the path.

Bosky light and shadow

Moss and lichens cover anything that doesn’t move it seems.

These sun drenched alleys are festooned with heather.

Its a long, long, long way up! 800 + m. over 3 k!

This intrepid duo started in Brittany, walked to Santiago de Compostela and are now walking back home!

OMG – thats a lot of ground to cover!

Some of our company along the way.

Sometimes the way is idyllic,

sometimes the way is brutal,

and sometimes you just have to stop and soak up the ambience.

AND sometimes you get the coffee!!!!

Thank you Yvonne! I will need your blessings and support – 17 k. today and I suspect an early night – again!
We are slowly but surely getting into the rhythm of the walk – slow and steady with time to stop, admire things and have interesting conversations!
Please drop me a line and let me know how you are doing?
Love Kim
Great pics and you’re both still smiling, so that’s a good thing! And only 790 kilometre to go!!
OMG! but we are getting there – I think (?) we have gotten a bit of our own pace now – just fighting my A type tendencies!
